About Mr. Leininger – Divorce Mediator for couples with substantial assets
Our Law Firm was founded by attorney William J. Leininger in 1981. In 1974, he graduated from Fordham Law School in New York City with the rank of #1 in his Evening Division. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1975, and was subsequently admitted to the Bar of New Jersey several years later. He has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1988. He resides in Sarasota, Florida.
Mr. Leininger has appeared on the Today Show on NBC, the CBS Morning Show, the Phil Donahue Show, the Sally Jessy Raphael Show and other national television and radio programs, and has lectured on Divorce for over 40 years. Mr. Leininger became a Divorce Mediator in 1994. Since then, he has mediated over 880 cases to completion. Mr. Leininger is a Founding Member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, and is also a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation. He is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
Many of Mr. Leininger's mediation cases have involved substantial assets, difficult custody cases, businesses and professional practices, involving up to 15 million dollars. He has an intimate knowledge of Civil Service pensions, including the pensions of police and firefighters and school teachers and administrators, as well as State and Federal retirement plans. Mr. Leininger's Target Clients are couples with assets, including pensions, 401k plan accounts, stock options, homes, and businesses or professional practices worth between $1 million and $15 million dollars.
